For this particular event, they opted for our villa catering service. The client was celebrating a milestone birthday at a fantastic private villa in Marbella. They were looking for an informal but elevated evening for around 60 guests, with a mix of sharing dishes, interactive stations, and plenty of lovely Spanish flavours.
The brief was to keep it relaxed, seasonal, and stylish, with all the details taken care of by our team, so we got to work designing a beautiful menu!
Welcome Drinks & Canapés
As the guests arrived at the villa, they were welcomed with a chilled glass of cava, offered signature cocktails, and a roaming selection of bite-sized canapés was served by our team.

- Prawns in garlic butter on toast
- Mini empanadas with sweet chilli dip
Our staff coordinated the flow of service so that guests were well taken care of while mingling and enjoying the spectacular views that the villa had on offer.
Main Dining: Sharing Platters and Chef Stations
Instead of a sit-down meal, the client chose interactive food stations and Mediterranean sharing platters, which created a fun, social atmosphere and encouraged guests to try a bit of everything.

- Live-cooked paella station with seafood and veggie options
- BBQ grilled meats, including marinated chicken, chorizo, and ribs
- Lots of Mediterranean salads, local vegetables, and roasted potatoes
- Tapas-style platters of tortilla, padron peppers, olives, and artisan breads
We set up rustic-style stations with ambient lighting and décor that matched the celebration’s relaxed vibe.
Dessert Table & Sweet Finishes
For dessert, we created a help-yourself buffet filled with a mix of traditional Spanish sweets and modern options, as well as some vegan options, as requested by our client.

- Churros with rich chocolate sauce
- Almond and orange cakes
- Vegan chocolate mousse pots
- Mini fruit tarts and fresh berries
Guests could return to their table at their leisure, creating a laid-back, flowing dessert experience that felt like more of a treat than a formality.
Late-Night Snacks
As the evening turned into night, we kept the energy up with a round of late-night bites, served on trays to guests still dancing and chatting. This included:
- Mini burgers with caramelised onions
- Loaded fries with paprika aioli
- Vegan falafel wraps
- Cheese boards paired with local wines
